I was born and raised in the Midwest where I attended Indiana University.  I received a BS in Biology and a Certificate of Business.  After graduating, I entered the Chemical Industry and spent ten years as an Executive Sales Professional. When I moved to the High Country in 2014, I stepped away from the corporate world to care for my three children. In addition to caring for my children, I have served on the Board of Mountain Pathways Montessori School and I have served as Vice President and President of The Boone Service League. I currently serve as a Board Member of the Watauga Education Foundation.  In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, traveling and spending time with my family.
